Maharashtra State Government is going to MAHATET for the first time after Central Government’s enactment of Right To Education Act to improve the quality of teachers in India. As per this Act, Central Government as well as State Government should select Teachers in respect of Ist std to VIIIth std onlye through Teacher Eligibility Test modalities have been fixed by Central Government with the help of NCTE.
MAHATET has been scheduled on 15.12.2013 to recruit more than 32,000 teachers posts. Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune will be in-charge of TET in Maharashtra.
MAHATET 2013 – Important Dates
- Registration for Maharashtra State Teachers Eligibility Test will commence on : 20.10.2013 at 9.00AM.
- Last Date for Online Registration and Fees Payment in Bank : 11.11.2013.
- Last Date for Receipt of Confirmation Page with challan, in District Education Office: 15.11.2013.
