Procedure to inquire the BO accounts in DOP Finacle

  • Generally many of us want to know the number of accounts available for a particular BO.
  • In DOP Finacle also there is a procedure to inquire the number of live accounts available for a particular.
  • In general we have SB,RD,TD and SSA accounts in BO's in DOP.
  • In DOP Finacle each BO is given a code during migration which can be inquired in modification after verification menus such as CASBAM,CRDACM,CPPFAM and CMISAM  etc for SB,RD,SSA and TD schemes respectively.
  • The step by step procedure to inquire the number of accounts scheme wise and also BO-wise is mentioned in detailed in the below mentioned procedure.

Step by Step Procedure to inquire  BO accounts

1)    Invoke HACSP menu.
2)    Enter the Sol ID, Scheme code, Open Date (Low), Open Date (High), Free Code No. and Free Codes fields as specified in the below screenshot.
3)    Sol ID for which the BO’s are applicable and account list is required.
4)    Scheme Code is SBGEN or RDIPN, since generally in BO’s only SB and RD accounts are available.
5)    Open Date (Low) and Open Date (High) are the account opening date’s. All the accounts which are opened in this Date Range will be listed.
6)    BO details are available in the Free Code 10 field in GAC table and hence 10 should be entered in the Free Code No field.
7)    In Free Codes field, enter the actual BO code and select from the searcher also.

Note :-  Most of the times we are facing Could not get response from server error whil;e trying to generate the BO accounts report in HACSP. This is due to slowness in server wait for sometime and try again later.

International Yoga Day may be declared public holiday

International Day of Yoga could be declared a public holiday if a demand in this regard is made, Ayush minister Shripad Naik said on Wednesday.

Setting the stage for the second International Day of Yoga on June 21, Naik said though there was no need for a holiday since yoga is practised in the morning, his ministry would put forward the proposal to the government in the interest of promoting a practice which has multiple benefits.
"Last year also, no such demand came. But if the demand comes, I will request the prime minister to do so. Yoga's time is early morning. It will go on till around 8 am. There is no need for a holiday but if there is a demand for that, we will request the government," Naik said during the National Health Editors' Conference on the theme 'Yoga for Holistic Health Recent Researches'.

The minister said that as yoga is not complete without the chanting of 'Om', it was included in the common protocol but clarified that it was not mandatory.
Also, like last year, the surya namaskar will not be a part of this year'sYoga Day celebrations. "Surya namaskar is a complex exercise. It is difficult to do in 45 minutes, especially for people who are new to the exercise."
Last year, the day was celebrated in New Delhi's Rajpath with Modi taking the lead. This year, Chandigarh will host the event.

Verification of Transactions in CBS Post Offices - Posting of BO transactions on the next day

From: Director (CBS)

Sent: 03 June 2016 13:14

Subject: Verification of Transactions in CBS Post Offices.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am directed to inform that it has been observed by Infosys Team from the backend that Supervisors of CBS Post Offices are not verifying transactions on regular basis which is resulting in pilling up of transactions for verification at the closing hours.  This is also resulting in delay is starting and completion of End of Day operations.

It is requested that instructions may be issued to all CBS Post Offices that every Supervisor to regularly verify transactions and should visit all Transaction Verification menus after every 30 minutes to see any pending transaction for verification. This should be strictly followed. Supervisors are also bound to verify all non financial modifications and it is observed that hundreds of such modifications are pending for verification. This is resulting in non picking up of such accounts by interest batches and customers are complaining that interest is not generated for his/her account.  This should also be ensured that Supervisors should verify all non financial modifications and account opening regularly.

It is also observed that some post offices start BO transaction posting very late resulting in delay in starting of EOD. It is requested that transactions of BOs should be either completed by 4.30 PM or should be posted on the next day.

With regards,

Sd/
Sachin Kishore
Director (CBS)
Sansad Marg,
Dak Bhavan
