Adhoc promtions and Postings in PS Group B cadre in Vijayawada Region
R.O, Vijayawada has issued postings to the following senior ASPs who are approved for promotion to PS Group B cadre on Adhoc basis vide memo dated 25.09.2014.
1. Sri P.Rangaiah Naidu, ASRM Vijayawada is posted as SRM YDn Vijayawada vice post vacant.
2. Sri M.Seshagiri rao, ASP(hq) Nizamabad Dn is posted as SPOs Gudivada Dn vice post vacant.
SBI, ICICI allow kids to open and operate bank accounts, sign cheques and hold ATM cards
School-going children as young as 10 years will have to start working on their signatures with SBI and ICICI Bank now allowing them to open and operate bank accounts, sign cheques and hold ATM cards on their own.
These minor-operated accounts had been allowed by the Reserve Bank of India in May to inculcate savings behaviour among the young. The only condition was that minors should not be given any overdraft or credit facility.
Government asks ministries, officials to take cleanliness pledge on Gandhi Jayanti
The Narendra Modi government has asked all ministries to go on an "intensive cleanliness campaign" from September 25 to October 2 in the week to Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, culminating in a Swachta Shapath or cleanliness pledge to be taken by bureaucrats in Delhi on Gandhi Jayanthi.
Cabinet secretary Ajit Seth asked secretaries to take the cleanliness drive in government offices and public buildings "to the next level so that there is visible and felt impact," in a September 20 note that ET has seen.
The cleanliness pledge is to be taken by all government officials on October 2, with senior staff personally seeing to it that the week-long drive is pursued vigorously in their departments.
FINACLE : AGENT ID CREATING PROCEDURE AND AGENT PORTAL TIPS
Tips To Create Agent In Finacle
DSA IDs should not contain SPACE or DOT in between. 1. DSA ID 2. First Name
3. Last Name
Agent IDs created in Finacle should not contain space or a dot. Agents Portal will not allow creation of such agent id’s.
Agent ID Creation In E-Banking
Create Agent ID in e-banking as it was not part of migrated agents.
Solution:
The Agent ID should be first created in Finacle using the menu HDSAMM by the post office . After that, the Agent ID should be shared with Help Desk for creating the Agent ID in e-banking as well.
Tips For Agent Login: Not Able To Login
Passwords are case sensitive i.e. lower case and upper case characters should be entered as is. If the agent enters password wrongly 10 times, the Agent ID gets disabled.
Possible Reasons For Accounts Not Visible For Agents
- Same Agent might have SAS and MPKBY agency.
- Duplicate agent ids are present. While renewal instead of correcting the existing ID, new agent ID has been created resulting in Duplicate IDs. Further in many post offices it is seen that SB account number is linked even to these duplicate agent IDs.
- If multiple IDs are present to same agents, PO should refer to correct MPKBY ID from the excel sheet provided during Data Migration Transformation and check whether the RD accounts are linked to this ID.
- When the agent logs in, accounts are not visible. Please link the accounts.
Solution: The account linkage for the Agent has to be done in Finacle by the PO user by going to account modification menu for each account.

IPS BRIDGE FOR REGISTER AND SPEED POST ARTICLES
The application facilitates tracking of inbound and outbound foreign Registered articles and EMS articles through India Post website
IPS Bridge is an application which functions as bridge between IPS (International Postal Systems) National Server and R Net and Speed Net servers. IPS bridge software exchanges data between these servers. IPS National server will exchange the A to I events with R Net and Speed Net servers through IPS Bridge application.
IPS National Server:
IPS application will generate file for IPS Bridge application, which contains IPS A to I events of Register Letter and EMS articles. Then IPS Bridge application will collect these files and process, extract the data required by R Net or Speed Net servers, generate files, article category wise for further processing either by R Net or Speed Net server.
R Net And Speed Net Server:
Incoming articles:
R Net and Speed Net servers will receive the data from IPS Bridge application using R Net and Speed Net communication. These files will be processed and added to the respective database so that these foreign articles can be tracked in Domestic web applications through India Post website.
Outgoing articles:
In reverse direction R Net and Speed Net software will provide Booking, Delivery and Attempted delivery data to IPS Bridge application. IPS Bridge application will process these files and generates files for IPS Application. Finally, IPS application process these files and make data available for Tracking on indiapost web site www.indiapost.gov.in
